Stephen Weston is the Vice President, Store Technology, at Canadian Tire Corporation (CTC). He focuses on driving growth for stakeholders and helping Dealers, Franchisees, and Store Managers succeed in their markets through omnichannel capabilities. In his role, he oversees store IT strategy, architecture, delivery, operations, and support for 1700+ national retail locations across CTC’s family of companies.
With a passion for technology, data, and cybersecurity, Stephen previously served as the Chief Information Security Officer at CTC. He co-founded the Canadian Cybersecurity Threat Exchange, serving as a Board Member and Committee Chair. With nearly 30 years in IT and cybersecurity, Stephen is an active member of the community, presenting at various industry forums and winning awards for innovative technology use. He has also advised technology companies like Palo Alto Networks, McAfee, and ISA Cybersecurity.
Stephen resides in Durham Region with his wife, three children, and seven grandchildren. He continues his learning journey since graduating from Centennial College and enjoys racing cars as the co-owner of an amateur race car team at Calabogie Motorsports Park.
