Stacia Dickerson, CISM, CISA, joined Aflac at the end of 2017, bringing more than 30 years of experience in information security and risk management from the financial industry.  She is responsible for designing, building, and establishing the strategic approach for Aflac’s global Cybersecurity Assurance Program encompassing cybersecurity controls and the associated testing for information security, business continuity, and disaster recovery functions.

Prior to joining Aflac, she served as SVP of Information Security Governance for SunTrust Bank for 17 years where she led a team of 55+ including the Information Security Officer Program, Security Incident Management, Third Party Security Assessments, Information Security Policy and Standards, Cybersecurity Assurance, Security Awareness Program, and Archer GRC for security.  Stacia was the chair of the Information Security Policy Committee, and she was the liaison to the Federal Reserve and other regulatory entities.  Stacia earned a bachelor’s degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
