Sabina Ewing is Abbott’s Vice President of Business and Technology Services. She was appointed to this role in November 2020. In her role, Sabina provides executive leadership on technology strategy, policy, and capabilities across the Abbott enterprise.

Prior to joining Abbott, Sabina served as the Global Head, Business Technology for Pfizer Upjohn, headquartered in Shanghai, China. Before that, she held several IT-leadership roles at Pfizer, including Vice President for Corporate Functions & Business Services Business Technology (BT) and VP of Specialty Care, Vaccines, & Oncology BT.

Sabina is a recipient of the 2016 Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Luminary Award and was recognized by Pharmaceutical Executive magazine the same year as an Emerging Pharma Leader. In 2019, she was announced as a Superstar by US Black Engineer & Information Technology magazine and a Technology All Star by Women of Color magazine. She is a 2018 recipient of the PharmaVoice Top 100 Most Inspiring Leaders in Life Sciences Award, a 2020 Women Economic Forum Iconic Leader Creating a Better World for All Award winner, and a 2020 PhillyCIO ORBIE winner for CIO of the Year in the Global CIO category.

Sabina earned her Bachelor of Science in Commerce with concentrations in Management Information Systems and Finance from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia; and her Master of Science in Management and Systems from New York University, New York, New York.
