Ronald Buglione is an accomplished professional with more than 17 years of experience in the cybersecurity field. He is currently a director at Cox Automotive, a privately-held global automotive services and software company with more than 30 businesses and 30,000 employees, where he oversees the Threat Intelligence and Incident Response Program. Ronald’s extensive background includes data analysis, security engineering, infrastructure deployment and integrations, forensics, email/endpoint/network protection, incident response, threat intelligence, SOC operations, threat detection and threat hunting.
Through the course of Ronald’s career, he built Threat Detection and Incident Response programs, a formal Threat Intelligence program, deployed and integrated numerous security infrastructures, created DDoS protection programs, investigated and resolved security issues, and helped steer company strategies to strengthen organizational security.
Ronald holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Security Systems, awarded from Farmingdale State College and holds professional security certifications including CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GCIH and GSEC. He is also an active member of the ISC2 Long Island chapter.
