Robert is currently leading the IT function for a new start-up airline in Canada – Canada Jetlines (www.jetlines.com ). Robert has over 30 years experience as a business and IT professional with a focus on IT strategy, cloud solutions and cybersecurity. Recent work includes building digital platforms with cloud-based best-of-breed solutions that provide cost efficiencies, process automation and seamless platform integration. Robert’s background includes 18 years with Air Canada in IT leadership and airline operational roles. Most recently, Robert provided leadership for IT at U.S. based Eastern Airlines. Previous roles include VP, IT and Operations at United Way Greater Toronto, CIO at Technical Standards and Safety Authority of Ontario, Director, IT at Certified Management Accountants of Ontario, and various roles implementing digital solutions at Canada Post and Purolator.

Robert earned an MBA from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Professional Accountant. Robert has served on the board of the CIO Association of Canada (Toronto Chapter) and Advisory Committee member, Council of IT Executives at the Conference Board of Canada. He currently is a member of the IDC Canada CIO Research Review Board. Robert also holds a Canadian Commercial Pilot license.
