Richard is a member of the Advisory CISO team at Cisco working with major clients on security strategies.  He has over 25 years experience in major transformations with organizations in different regions.  

Prior to joining Cisco he was at HP Enterprise where he was the Security C.T.O. for EMEA.  He led research and innovation into new transformational strategic security services and solutions for clients. He also worked on developing a report with the Word Economic Forum on Board Level Governance. 

Prior to joining HP Enterprise, he was consulting to various organizations including ENISA where he delivered projects covering topics such as national Risk Readiness at a government level.  He has also consulted in the past for the UK Cabinet Office. 

He is a well-known speaker at conferences and has been on the board of advisory bodies such as IAAC, the Accreditation Committee of the IISP and has been a guest lecturer at Oxford University.
