Randi Levin is an innovative and transformational business and technology executive. She has proven experience in government, the private sector domestically and internationally, consulting and many other industries. As a flexible and highly experienced leader, she emphasis strategic planning. She also focuses on transformation, transparency and efficiency initiatives, leading-edge thinking, cybersecurity and implementation. Randi is a results-oriented business manager with outstanding interpersonal skills. Recently, Randi held the position of CIO at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).

Randi has spent 30+ years in Information Technology. She served as the CIO/CTO for the City of Los Angeles, the CIO for Cast & Crew, Forest Lawn. Randi was the VP of Worldwide Corporate Systems for NBC Universal and the Walt Disney Company as well as numerous other organizations, primarily in Southern California.

Randi’s latest major achievement was leading JPL’s Information Technology Division and support a successful rover and helicopter landing on Mars while working from home during Covid. She ensured Voyager’s continued to operate while moving all the ground data systems and retrofitting them for the future. Randi also led and matured the cyber program for JPL.

Randi Levin was the first Public and Private sector CTO or CIO to implement cloud-based email – Google Applications – Gmail for the enterprise in 2008. Her extensive partnership with Google provided the City of Los Angeles many benefits beyond just a new email system. It began the city’s digital transformation and also disrupted an entire industry and enabled much more cloud adoption.

She has been passionate about helping women in technology either stay and advance in the field and helping middle school girls get interested in STEM. Randi has spoken on this topic and is writing a book about women in technology. She received the Orbie award in 2021 for outstanding work in the Large Corporate organizations in Southern California.

Randi has lived in the Los Angeles area for approximately 30 years and has two grown children. Randi graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Management Information Systems degree from the University of Arizona.
