Mohan Kompella is the Vice President of Product Marketing at BigPanda, where he’s responsible for BigPanda’s positioning and messaging, product launches, analyst relations, sales enablement, competitive intelligence, product and solution content, and thought leadership.

Mohan has 20+ years of Enterprise B2B software experience. He spent 15 of those in IT operations. Mohan got his start in IT operations as a hands-on engineer deploying IT Ops and monitoring tools for F1000 enterprises on the east coast. He then moved into pre-sales engineering where he helped architect and sell IT operations platforms to the F1000. That’s when he fell in love with marketing, product marketing and product management, and hasn’t looked back since. Prior to BigPanda, Mohan led product marketing for Lightbend, the company behind the open-source Scala and Akka projects.
Mohan has a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Madras, and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
