Mark Kwapiszeski is executive vice president, Shared Components and Security Solutions for Mastercard Operations and Technology. In this role, he is responsible for the technical delivery and operations of critical technology shared components such as the Data Warehouse, Global File Transfer, Customer Data Services, and Consumer Data Services. These shared components provide the technical foundation for many of Mastercard’s business services, and promote reuse across the technical stack to improve delivery times and reduce expense.

Mr. Kwapiszeski also leads the technical delivery and operations for the Cyber & Intelligence line of business, including: Decision Intelligence, Identity Check, Safety Net, and Dispute, among others. These services keep the Mastercard payments network secure by preventing fraud in any form.

Prior to this role, Mr. Kwapiszeski held a number of management positions within Mastercard. Most recently, he led the Digital Payments team where he oversaw the creation of key digital assets like the Mastercard Digital Enablement Service, and Mastercard Send. Before that, he performed technical due diligence on third-parties with the Enterprise Architecture team.

Mr. Kwapiszeski holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Saint Louis University. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross of Eastern Missouri and an active volunteer for Junior Achievement of Greater St. Louis.
