Lance Cook is vice president, Business Technology Management, Information Technology (IT). In this role, Lance serves as the strategic liaison between IT, our business units and functions. He ensures alignment and integration of IT with our enterprise strategic and operational objectives to optimize business performance. Lance leads both the business capability aligned teams who partner with our business units and functions and the business capability owners with a goal to mature business capabilities, optimize application portfolios and create roadmaps that grow and transform our business capabilities.
Lance joined Rockwell Automation in 2020 with more than 20 years of IT experience in organizational transformation, technology roadmap creation, enterprise resource planning implementation, infrastructure and acquisition strategy. Prior to Rockwell Automation, Lance was vice president of business technology at W.W. Grainger. Prior to W.W. Grainger, Lance served as vice president and divisional chief information officer at Lowe’s Company. Earlier in his career, he served in roles of increasing responsibility at Office Depot and Reebok International.
Lance Cook holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
