Kandice Samuelson currently serves as Senior Director of Information Technology (IT) Governance at PPD. In this role she is responsible for the development and oversight of information technology policies and procedures, oversight and development of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), validation testing processes, and management of IT participation in client audits and regulatory inspections.

Kandice has held roles of increasing responsibility in Information Technology during her career at PPD, having previously served as Director of IT with management responsibility for the IT Project Management Organization (PMO) and systems development and IT support activities for a wide variety of business functions including various laboratories and clinical research facilities. Joining PPD in 1995, she has also worked as a project manager leading the deployment of numerous systems within the global organization.

Kandice began her professional career in the manufacturing industry with responsibilities that included computer system design and development, database administration and operations management.

Kandice earned a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and an Education Certification from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX.
