Global CISO
GE
Justin assumed the role of Global CISO of GE on July 20th, 2020. Prior to this role, Justin led the Cyber Programs and Threat Management organization within Cybersecurity, Technology and Risk (CTR) since October 2017. In this role, he successfully led and coordinated the prevention and response activities across GE Businesses – managing all cyber incidents, insider threat cases and supporting forensics matters. Within GE, Justin has spent the last 8 years in various cyber security roles helping to protect the brand, employees and customers.
Prior to GE, Justin spent 15+ years helping large companies defend and respond to nation state driven targeted attacks. These companies include Booz Allen Hamilton, where he helped to establish the company’s internal threat defense capabilities as well as Sprint, where he worked to provide security capabilities for government entities.
Justin holds a Bachelor’s degree in computer science from Dowling College and a Master’s degree in Information Security from James Madison University. He currently serves as an executive member representing GE as a part of the Internet Security Alliance (ISA). In addition to his cyber leadership, Justin is the site leader for GE’s Richmond based security hub, the Information Security Technology Center (ISTC). He is committed to creating an inclusive culture for the 200 plus employees at the site and provide leadership for the affinity and employee engagement groups represented.
