John Hill is the Chief information Officer and Senior Vice President, Business Planning at Carhartt and is responsible for leading the company’s technology strategy and its implementation to assist in the achievement of the company’s growth objectives. Additionally, he leads the teams responsible for planning and business transformation.

Mr. Hill was previously Vice President, Solutions Delivery at W.W. Grainger and was responsible for leading all application development and maintenance for the company.

Prior to this Mr. Hill was Chief Information Officer and Vice President, responsible for the transformation of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) for the Province of Ontario, Canada. He was also the head of Business Solutions Services for several of the ministries in the Province.

Prior to this Mr. Hill was Vice President and Global Head of Informatics Services at Switzerland-based Roche Holding Company. For the first half of his career Mr. Hill has held leadership positions in strategic planning, business development and strategic sourcing at General Motors, Supply Access and IBM.

Mr. Hill received his Masters in Administrative Management from Bowie State University, and his Bachelors in Economics from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO.
