John Dearman is the Information Security Architect at The Aaron’s Company, Inc where he and his team manage the organization’s cyber security architecture, red team initiatives, threat intelligence, and security control validation. After receiving his BS in computer science from Sam Houston State University, John began his career as a PHP developer. Eventually John found his way to the offensive security world, where he would go on to perform penetration tests against numerous Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and even political campaign groups. John and his wife, Laurelyn, have a blended family of 5 kids, and when he’s not at youth sporting event (basketball, softball, baseball, and more), he can be found hunting, fishing, or riding dirt bikes.
