Jack O’Meara is a Director in the Guidehouse Advanced Solutions Cybersecurity practice and leads the Cyber Incident Prevention and Response, and Cyber Litigation Support service offerings. Jack advises and collaborates with clients to effectively prepare for and respond to cyber incidents, restore operations and develop and deliver cyber resilient solutions, as well as provides litigation support related to cyber intrusions and data breaches.
Jack brings over 30 years of cybersecurity risk management and operational experience working with various commercial companies and public sector agencies. Prior to joining Guidehouse, Jack spent 13 years as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for SAIC, Leidos, CSC and DXC Technology, where he was responsible for day-to-day operational direction for all aspects of cybersecurity, regulatory compliance and IT risk management and the leadership and coordination of IT security staff and activities. These responsibilities included cybersecurity strategy, policies, plans and procedures development; information system security risk management; cybersecurity training and awareness campaigns; cybersecurity incident management and response; and disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Jack holds a Master of Science in Information Assurance from Capitol Technology University and a Bachelor of Arts from San Francisco State University.
