Dan Krantz is Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Keysight Technologies. He is responsible for the company’s customer-facing platforms, enterprise applications, analytics systems, global computing and collaboration services and information security. Dan is leading the IT transformation to enable Keysight’s software-centric solutions strategy for innovations in 5G, connected cars, Internet of Things and network security.
Dan’s IT career has spanned 25 years beginning with the Los Alamos National Laboratory where he developed software for classified nuclear non-proliferation modeling. He then transitioned to the private sector where he modernized retail banking applications for leading financial firms. He joined Hewlett Packard to lead the Technical Computing Division and then held subsequent IT leadership roles during the divestiture into Agilent Technologies and finally Keysight.
Dan earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Whitworth University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of New Mexico. He spends his free time serving on a community youth sports Board of Directors and enjoying outdoor recreational activities with his family in the Pacific Northwest.
