Chris Rodriguez is a Research Manager in IDC’s Security & Trust program covering technologies designed to secure today’s complex enterprise networks. The IDC Network Security Products and Strategies practice covers specific functions including firewall, unified threat management, intrusion prevention systems, cloud security gateway, web security, messaging security, DDoS mitigation, and web application firewall.

Chris joined IDC in 2018 with over a decade of analyst experience. Chris previously served as a senior industry analyst at Frost & Sullivan where he researched a full breadth of network and web-based security products including next generation firewall, bot management, sandboxing, network access control, vulnerability management, identity and access management, and others.
