Brian Sibbitt has been leading the strategy and execution of the Infrastructure & Operations function, including Cloud & DevOps, since joining the bank in December 2021. Before becoming a part of Equitable Bank, Brian served as the VP Infrastructure for Aviva Canada, where he successfully increased employee engagement and instilled the necessary stability in the systems. Although Brian’s career primarily involved Infrastructure, he also dedicated time to the application side, where he implemented a Core Claims system and built out Aviva’s Enterprise DevOps practice. Before his tenure at Aviva, Brian Sibbitt worked as a consultant for EY, DXC, and EDS, supporting Banking and Insurance clients with technology transformations.
