Brendan Lafond is a Director of Agile Transformation at Wesco with more than 16 years of experience in the IT industry. His background in support, development, product management, and Agile transformation provides a well-rounded set of skills to support his current role of driving DevSecOps evolution at Wesco. As a passionate advocate for developer experience and ease of use, he leads a platform engineering and coaching team. He is responsible for leading the enhancement, adoption, and strategy for Wesco’s CICD platform and integration of secure by design best practices that provide feedback about application security, starting with a developer’s initial commit.

Before Wesco, Brendan served as a leader in product management at DellEMC for 5+ years. He drove initiatives to build a new platform for Internet of Things connectivity, enabling secure remote services and connections between customer equipment and DellEMC. Additionally, Brendan was responsible for leading the prioritization of security remediation, the implementation of CICD, and release management.
