Driven by the desire to educate and empower non-security folks about all things security and compliance, Beth has made it her mission to spread the good word about security. With a decade worth of security, compliance and project management experience, Beth loves helping people understand the ‘why’ behind security controls.

Prior to joining Firstup in November 2019, Beth worked in large tech organizations fulfilling roles in the security, compliance and project management spaces. With this combined experience, Beth has successfully led large complex projects, training initiatives and internal security communications.

As the Firstup compliance manager, she helps employees, contractors and customers understand the ever-important ‘why’ behind the security controls Firstup has in place. Possibly even more importantly, Beth has been able to help people understand what they can do to protect themselves as an individual, whether at work or at home.
