The Data & Trust Alliance – a new nonprofit whose membership consists of influential American corporations like Nike, Starbucks, American Express and Meta – is guiding companies on the responsible use of data and intelligent systems. Its initial project tackled the issue of bias in workforce decisions by evaluating technology used to screen job candidates.
