Every year, CIO recognizes the tech world’s most innovative organizations and accomplished leaders. We’re excited to announce that the call for the 2023 CIO Awards Canada nominations is now open for this popular Awards program! We will feature award winners at CIO’s Future of Digital Innovation Summit & Awards Canada event on on November 15-16, 2023.

The CIO Awards Canada celebrate Canadian organizations and the teams within them that are using IT in innovative ways to deliver business value, whether by creating competitive advantage, optimizing business processes, enabling growth or improving relationships with customers. It is an acknowledged mark of enterprise excellence. Because the award is given to company projects rather than individuals, it’s an honour that everyone on your team can take pride in.

• To be selected, a Canadian team/company must demonstrate project excellence in two main areas:
  • Technology innovation: The extent to which your organization used IT in a new way or enabled new ways of doing business, whether internally or externally.
  • Business value delivery: The measurable impact, backed up by supporting data, that your project has had on your organization’s business results.

• • The CIO Awards Canada program showcases your innovative Canadian tech project and team (not individual CIOs).
  • Award-winning teams are given short speaking opportunities at our event.
  • Nominations are limited to Canadian teams operating in Canada – you don’t have to compete with firms globally or in North America.
  • Your Canadian team has done some amazing projects over the past year and they deserve to be recognized.
  • There is a nominal fee, compared to other award programs, to submit your nomination for CIO Awards Canada (US$38).
